Rohan’s quiet power of courage and determination

Rohan made the courageous decision to leave the familiar group he was attending HPHH with and join a new one where he knew no one. Driven by his goal to one day speak confidently with anyone—whether a peer or potential employer—Rohan’s determination and courage were clear from day one. Early on, he formed a strong bond with another participant, Lyndon, giving him the confidence to start practising those skills in a safe and supportive space. One quiet moment stood out: while calmly regulating with Spencer, a gentle orange cat, in the cat enclosure, Rohan noticed Lyndon’s support worker nearby and, without prompting, struck up a conversation. It was a small act, but a powerful sign of Rohan’s growing confidence and willingness to step outside his comfort zone and achieve his goals.
