A new space for whisker-twitching fun in our Ten Lives Programs!

We’re so excited to share a first look at our brand-new session room at Ten Lives; a space we’ve been eagerly awaiting and one that’s already creating beautiful moments of connection and growth.

During the very first session in the new room, Program Trainer Juliana noticed something special unfolding. With the increased space, we were able to introduce a large shared table—quickly nicknamed the “café table” by participants—which was a welcome change from the traditional rows we previously had in the smaller room. The new layout naturally encouraged open conversation and connection. The group, once shy and quiet when they first joined HPHH, found themselves chatting across the table, joking with each other and embracing the new atmosphere with ease.

What made the moment even more meaningful was their growing understanding of why this new space was designed the way it was, opening up a conversation about inclusivity and accessibility. Together, they reflected on how important it is for everyone—including wheelchair users—to move freely and feel welcome in the space.

Juliana shared how proud she was to see the group recognising these considerations, especially as change can often feel challenging. Their empathy and openness showed just how far they’ve come, not only in confidence, but in awareness, respect and understanding for others.

This beautiful new room is more than an upgrade; it’s a place where connection flows, confidence grows, and participants continue to build the social and emotional skills that support them both inside and outside our programs.

We can’t wait to see the many moments of growth that will unfold here.
