Explore is an Employment Pathway program for participants who are ready to take the next step into volunteering, work or further study in the animal care industry and beyond.

Designed by experienced trainers and case workers, participants will learn about a range of ‘paw-some’ topics; from goal setting and addressing barriers to communicating in the workforce.

Participants will also attend special presentations from guest speakers, excursions and a Jobs Fair. Sessions will run for two hours, once a week, for 24 weeks, with an additional 1.5-hour case management component to support participants in reaching their full potential.

Following the Explore program, each participant will be offered a work placement/study opportunity aligned with their individual goals, capability and support needs, providing them with hands-on experience and putting their knowledge into practice.
